03/02/2017 (Hindu Business Line) - Edible oils witnessed dull trading on Friday tracking weak overseas and domestic futures amid lack of physical demand. Malaysian palm oil and Chicago soya oil show weak sentiments keeping higher selling pressure in domestic markets. Local refineries kept their rates steady but discounted offer by resellers kept the volume thin and isolated. Stockists stayed away from fresh bulk forward buys.

Liberty’s rates for Palmolein Ex STC / Shapur at ₹642/ ₹643 for Feb, super palmolein at ₹663 and soyabean refined oil ex Shapur ₹710 for Feb.

Ruchi’srate for soyabean refined oil was ₹700 for March and sunflower oil was ₹705-707.50 for Feb - March.

Allana’s rates: Palmolein Ex- Khopoli / Ex-IVP ₹640/₹643 for 15 Feb – 15 March. Soya refined oil ₹705 for Feb-March. Sunflower refined oil ₹710 for 15Feb – 15March.

Golden agri was quoting palmolein at ₹635 for Feb.

At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin decreased to ₹1,470 and loose (10 kgs) ruled steady at ₹935.
