VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Oct 27
27/10/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures ended higher on Wednesday as prices tracked rival oils on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange and production data released was within traders' expectations.
* U.S. grain and oilseed futures rose more than 1 percent on Wednesday, lifted by investment fund buying and expectations for increased export demand as harvests neared completion, traders and analysts said.
* Oil settled down more than 1 percent on Wednesday even after a surprise drawdown in U.S. crude inventories, as traders remained cautious that OPEC would be able to cut production come late November.
MARKET NEWS
* Apple's results weighed on U.S. stock prices on Wednesday after the technology giant posted its first annual revenue decline since 2001, while oil and gold prices slipped.
