VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch July 25
25/07/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Friday, after climbing to a two-week high in the prior session, although expectations of strong demand for the vegetable oil kept a floor under prices.
* U.S. soybean futures fell 2.3 percent to a three-month low on Friday as the weather forecast for August reinforced expectations that the crop developing in the U.S. Midwest would blossom into a bumper harvest.
* Crude prices inched down on Monday in Asia, staying not far from two-month lows hit in the previous session, amid worries over a global oil glut.
MARKET NEWS
* U.S. stock prices rose on Friday, marking four straight weeks of gains, while sterling dropped on bleak data that raised fears about a possible British recession following the country's June 23 vote to leave the European Union.
