10/06/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures eased on Thursday after making gains in early trade, recording a fourth consecutive session of declines tracking a stronger ringgit.

* U.S. wheat Wc1 and corn Cc1 fell about 1 percent on Thursday as traders locked in profit after the previous session's multimonth highs and ahead of a U.S. Department of Agriculture supply and demand report due on Friday.

* Oil prices settled down on Thursday, snapping a three-day rally after notching another 2016 high, as a strong dollar sparked profit-taking in crude futures by investors.

MARKET NEWS

* Bond prices and the yen rallied on Thursday as investors sought the safety of low-risk assets, while crude oil prices and stocks retreated after recent gains.
