13/04/2016 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.

FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures fell in evening trade to the lowest in almost a month following the release of government data showing better-than-expected output growth in March.

* U.S. grain futures jumped on short-covering and technical buying on Tuesday, with soybeans closing at eight-month highs after a see-saw session.

* U.S. crude futures fell in early Asian trade on Wednesday as profit taking and concern over a larger-than-expected build in U.S. crude stocks outweighed more positive news that Russia and Saudi Arabia had reached consensus on an oil output cap.

MARKET NEWS

* Brent crude oil prices hit a four-month high and energy equities rose on Tuesday after reports of an agreement between two major producers to freeze output, leading U.S. equities higher.
