01/03/2016 (Pakistan Obsever) - Four ships C.V ACX Crystal, M.V Pabur, M.T ECL Nur-K and M.T Atlantic Glory carrying containers, canola seeds, palm oil and chemicals were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal, Gain and Fertilizer Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal respectively during last 24 hours. Meanwhile, three mores ships with containers, Furnace Oil and Palm Oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port during the same period.

Berth occupancy was recorded at the Port at 53% on Sunday where a total of eight ships namely C.V ACX Crystal, C.V MSC Tomoko, C.V Nicoline Maersk, M.V Star Globe, M.V Pabur, M.T ECE Nur-K, Chem Tiger and M.T Atlantic Glory were occupied at PQA berths to load/offload containers, Coal, Canola seeds, Phosphoric Acid, Chemicals and Palm Oil respectively during last 24 hours. A Cargo volume during last 24 hours stood at 94,425 tonnes, comprising 54,478 tonnes imports and 39,767 tonnes exports, inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2,093 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port.—APP
