16/11/2015 (Bernama) - The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives are expected to remain weak next week, tracking the bearish outlook in the underlying cash market.

Affin Hwang Investment Bank Vice-President/Head of Retail Research Datuk Dr Nazri Khan Adam Khan said it will be weighed down by commodity-linked stocks, particularly plantation and oil gas, following the plunging crude and crude palm oil prices.

On a week-to-week basis, November 2015 fell 32 points to 1,654.50, December 2015 decreased 34.5 points to 1,645, March 2016 went down 37 points to 1,612.50 and June 2016 was 36.5 points lower at 1,595.

Weekly turnover for the week fell to 28,055 lots from 30,075 lots last Friday. Open interest was higher at 48,902 contracts versus 43,737 contracts.
