06/11/2015 (The Star) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Friday November 6.
   
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil fell on Thursday to reverse some of the gains in the previous session following news of a large Indonesian biodiesel deal, as ample supplies prompted some traders to lock in profits.
* U.S. wheat eased off a four-week high on Thursday amid disappointing export sales and forecasts for more rain relief in dry U.S. growing belts, which offset concerns about adverse harvest weather in Australia and turned traders' attention back toward large global supplies.
* Oil settled down as much as 2 percent on Thurday as an oversupply of crude and weak gasoline prices extended the previous session's rout.
   
MARKET NEWS
* Wall Street closed lower on Thursday as energy shares were weighed down by falling crude prices while U.S. treasury yields rose and gold prices fell as investors bet U.S. jobs on Friday could help prompt an interest rate hike as soon as next month.
