MEDAN, Indonesia, Jan 21 Asia in Focus - Russia has asked for the supplyof around 250,000 tons of olein and crude palm oil (CPO) twice a year fromIndonesia, the palm oil association (Gapki) said. The association said anagreement is expected to be signed soon.

* Gapki general chairman Derom Bangun said the country's production of CPOwill rise by 500,000 tons this year.

* Bangun said Gapki will guarantee that the quality of CPO to be exportedto Russia will be up to standard as requested in free fatty acid andiodine content, along with color and boiling point.
