VEGOILS-Market Factors To Watch Oct 22
22/10/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures hit a two-week high on Wednesday after Indonesia, the world's top producer, cut its output estimates for next year, as the effects of the El Nino dry weather pattern offsets higher yields from maturing trees.
* U.S. grain and oilseed futures advanced on Wednesday, with export sales driving soybean oil prices to their highest in more than two months.
* Oil prices fell about 2 percent to three-week lows on Wednesday as the U.S. government reported a bigger build than expected in crude stockpiles, although significant drawdowns in gasoline and distillates prevented a steeper slide in crude futures.
MARKET NEWS
* U.S. stocks indexes slipped on Wednesday on a tumble in healthcare and energy stocks, while oil prices slumped after U.S. government data showed a rise in crude inventories, adding to worries about oversupply.
