12/10/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Monday October 12.
   
FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures fell further on Friday as the ringgit firmed against the dollar, pushing palm prices to fresh two-and-a-half week lows.

* U.S. soybean futures jumped to a one-week high on Friday after the U.S. Department of Agriculture lowered its domestic production estimate more than analysts had expected.

* Oil prices rose in early Asian trading on Monday after U.S. drillers cut oil rigs for six straight weeks, while traders awaited Chinese trade data to be published following the one-week National Holiday.
   
MARKET NEWS

* Asian shares edged higher on Monday, consolidating recent rises as late gains in Wall Street on Friday and a rebound in the commodities complex prompted some investors to hunt for bargains while the dollar struggled.
