25/08/2015 (Hindu Business Line) - A sharp decline was seen in palmolein tracking weak closing of the Bursa Malaysia palm oil futures. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, palmolein declined by ₹8/10 kg as local refineries slashed their rates. Cotton refined oil dropped by ₹2. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹440 ex JNPT, super palmolein ₹485 and soyabean refined oil ₹571. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹440, soyabean refined oil ₹568, sunflower refined oil ₹705. Allana traded palmolein for ₹438, soya refined oil ₹570 and sunflower oil ₹710. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia was steady at ₹1,680 and loose (10 kg) ₹1,075.
