VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch August 3
03/08/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures edged down on Friday, reversing early gains to record their biggest monthly drop since March, but losses were limited by a weaker ringgit and data showing Malaysian exports fell less than expected this month.
* Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures fell on Friday, pressured by profit-taking and the cancellation of an export deal with China, traders said.
* U.S. crude posted its biggest monthly drop since the 2008 financial crisis on Friday after a string of losses in July triggered by China's stock market slump and signs that top Middle East producers were pumping crude at record levels.
MARKET NEWS
* The dollar fell and benchmark U.S. Treasury yields touched multi-week lows on Friday as an unexpectedly weak government reading of American labor costs dulled prospects for higher U.S. interest rates.
