20/05/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Wednesday May 20.
   
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures slipped for a third session to their lowest in more than a week, tracking declines in competing oil markets. 
* U.S. soybeans fell to contract lows while corn eased 1.7 percent on Tuesday, pressured by faster-than-normal spring plantings and overall favorable crop conditions in the United States.
* Oil prices fell more than 3 percent on Tuesday, with U.S. crude extending losses for a fifth straight day as the dollar rallied and on evidence that the United States and top oil exporter Saudi Arabia were pumping more than the world needed.
   
MARKET NEWS
* U.S. and European equities rose to trade near record highs on Tuesday, and the euro tumbled on signals the European Central Bank may accelerate its 1 trillion euro bond-buying program over the next two months.
