VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch March 26
26/03/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures rose on Wednesday as export volumes from the No.2 producer recorded an improvement for the first time in three months, but persistent worries about the outlook for global demand kept a lid on gains.
* U.S. wheat fell for the third straight session on Wednesday, pressured by technical selling and forecasts for rains needed in the parched southern U.S. Plains growing region.
* Oil settled up about 3 percent on Wednesday as a weak dollar, fighting in Yemen and speculative buying boosted crude prices in spite of U.S. inventories building to record highs for an 11th week.
MARKET NEWS
* Asian shares slipped on Thursday as losses on Wall Street and soft U.S. economic data soured sentiment, while the dollar's bull run looked to have stalled for the time being.
