24/02/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Tuesday Feb 24.
   
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell to their lowest level in 2-1/2 weeks on Monday when the market reopened after the Lunar New Year holiday as losses in rival soyoil markets plus sluggish export demand outweighed a drop in the ringgit.
* U.S. wheat and corn futures fell to near three-week lows on Monday as a strong dollar loomed over export demand along with aggressive competition from overseas  suppliers, traders said.
* Crude oil futures fell more than 2 percent on Monday as investors worried about oversupply and a strong dollar, but heating oil futures jumped 5 percent due to operational problems at major U.S. refineries.
   
MARKET NEWS
* U.S. stocks hovered near all-time highs on Monday, held down by a sharp drop in crude oil prices, while European shares rallied to seven-year highs on last week's conditional financial rescue for Greece.
