Nigeria: PZ Wilmar Distributors Get N100 Million Prizes
02/03/2015 (AllAfrica.com) - PZ Wilmar, producers of Devon King's Oil, recently rewarded its distributors across the country with gifts worth over N100 million in its "National Devon King's Cruise Promo."
Eleven of the distributors in Port Harcourt, were received cheques of between N450,000 and N2.4 million.
According to Amit Mishra, National Activation Manager, PZ Wilmar, the promo is part of the company's commitment to continuously reward partners for their contribution to creating a strong presence for the brand nationwide.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Charity Iwuagwu, Kinco Global Links, who received a cheque of N2.4 million, was full of excitement as she explained that doing business with PZ Wilmar has been profitable.
She said Devon King's oil is the most preferred brand in its category and is the cooking oil with the highest demand on the market therefore ensuring consistent profitability.
Another winner, Odilamma Amaechi, chief executive of Odilamma Enterprises Limited, who got N1.3 million, expressed delight and his willingness to continue to partner with the company.
The prize presentation ceremony also held in Ibadan, Benin and Abuja, before it climaxed in Lagos where the Managing Director, PZ Willmar, Santosh Pillai presented a brand new car each to four key distributors at PZ Cussons office in Lagos.
While appreciating the contribution of its partners, he assured that the company will continue to work closely with its business partners in making its products leading brands in Nigeria.
PZ Wilmar is a joint venture between PZ Cussons and Wilmar International, a partnership which has resulted in over N15 billion worth of investment in vegetable oil refinery and palm oil plantation in Nigeria, providing over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs.
