12/03/2015 (Hindu Business Line) - Imported palmolein and soya oil declined by ₹7 and ₹9 for 10 kg each pushing cotton refined oil by ₹2, tracking weak overseas futures which led local refineries to trim prices by ₹5-8 for palm and soya oils. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, palmolein dropped below ₹500 – its lowest since February 5. Groundnut oil rose by ₹10.

Vikram Global Commodities (P) Ltd quoted ₹530 for Malaysian super palm March delivery. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹505, super palmolein ₹525, soyabean refined oil ₹590. Ruchi traded palmolein for ₹499, soyabean refined oil ₹579, sunflower refined oil ₹625. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹506, super palmolein ₹530, soyabean refined oil ₹587 and sunflower oil ₹627.

BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 940 (930), soya ref. oil 581 (590), sunflower exp. ref. 575 (575), sunflower ref. 625 (625), rapeseed ref. oil 695 (695), rapeseed exp. ref. 665 (665), cottonseed ref. oil 573 (575) and palmolein 497 (504).
