VEGOILS-Market Factors to Watch Jan 27
27/01/2015 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures fell for a third session on Monday, dropping to their lowest in nearly five weeks as poor demand from major buyers sparked concern that palm's use in food and fuel industries may continue to slump in coming months.
* Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures rebounded from a three-month low on Monday, led by export demand for U.S. soymeal, a key source of protein in animal feed rations, traders said.
* Oil fell in see-saw trade on Monday, with U.S. crude ending at its lowest in nearly six years, as traders discounted comments from OPEC's top official about the market finally finding a bottom.
MARKET NEWS
* The euro rebounded from two days of sharp losses on Monday even after an anti-bailout party was victorious in Greek elections, while global stock indexes edged up on confidence in the European Central Bank's new money-printing program.
