JAKARTA, July 13 Asia Pulse - The government said it will support a planby crude palm oil producers to build crude palm oil storage tanks inChinese ports to facilitate sales of that commodity in that country.

Trade and Industry Minister Rini MS Soewandi told legislators in a hearinglast weekend the plan is part of the country's efforts to increase exportsof CPO and derivatives to China.

Rini said storage tanks will be built in Shanghai, Ningbo and other ports.

China is a major destination for Indonesian exports of CPO andderivatives.

Indonesia, the world's second largest producer of palm oil, exportedUS$2.6 billion worth of palm oil and derivatives last year.
