CPO Export Duty For September 2014 Reduced To 4.5 Per Cent
15/08/2014 (Bernama) - Malaysia has reduced the export duty on crude palm oil for September to 4.5 per cent, according to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board website Friday.
The CPO reference price for the month was fixed at RM2,348.80 per tonne.
The rate remain unchanged at 5.0 per cent in August and July but was maintained at 5.5 for three months from April.
These were based on reference prices of RM2,429.57 per tonne for August, RM2,482.92 per tonne (July), RM2,595.71 per tonne (June), RM2,693.26 per tonne (May), and RM2,598.76 per tonne for April.
