Angola: Commodity Goods Prices Fall in Benguela
10/05/2014 (AllAfrica.com) - The prices of commodity goods in the central Benguela province went down in the first quarter of this year and estabilised the formal and informal markets, said last Wednesday to ANGOP the chief of the statistics section of the provincial department of trade, hotels and tourism, Carlos Varela.
Speaking to ANGOP, Carlos Varela stressed that the fall in commodity goods prices was influenced by a considerable increase in the supply of products in the market.
The source stated that the market has recorded a decrease in the price of products such as sugar, rice, beef, flour, beans, powder milk, spaghetti, vegetable oil, palm oil, soap and salt.
