Palm Oil Exports In November Down 8.65 Per Cent To 1.52 Million Tonnes
11/12/2013 (Bernama) - Palm oil exports declined 8.65 per cent to 1.52 million tonnes last month from 1.664 million tonnes in October.
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said Malaysia's November crude palm oil (CPO) end-stocks rose 9.01 per cent to 1.13 million tonnes from 1.03 million tonnes last month.
Processed palm oil stocks in November increased 4.76 per cent to 846,409 tonnes while that of crude palm kernel oil stock was 32.44 per cent higher at 164,822 tonnes.
CPO output fell 5.64 per cent to 1.86 million tonnes last month, MPOB said in a statement Tuesday.
Crude palm kernel oil production dwindled by 5.4 per cent to 218,328 tonnes last month from 230,799 tonnes in October.
CPO imports were down 10.31 per cent to 3,602 tonnes in November while processed palm oil imports slipped 39.11 per cent to 11,257 tonnes.
