14/11/2013 (The Star) - The Sarawak State Financial Secretary has emerged as a substantial shareholder in Sarawak Oil Palms Bhd with 29.81 million shares or 6.8%.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday showed it acquired 23.14 million shares from a government-linked company on Oct 22.

An earlier filing showed the block of shares was disposed of by Pelita Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Pelita’s shareholding was reduced to 21.6% or 94.77 million shares after the disposal to the State Financial Secretary.
