17/10/2013 (Radio Australia) - While world leaders hailed the recent APEC summit in Indonesia a success, the host country suffered a setback in its bid to have its lucrative crude palm oil recognised as environmentally friendly.

Among other criticisms, environmental groups say the habitats of endangered species have been destroyed to make way for palm oil plantations.

But others have praised the Indonesian president's continued commitment to addressing environmental issues in his country.
