22/06/2013 (MENAFN.COM) - China's May palm oil imports rose 28% from a year earlier to 474,218 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Friday.
Imports in the first five months rose 14% to 2.55 million tons, it said.
China is the world's second-biggest importer of palm oil and gets most of its supplies from Indonesia and Malaysia.
