Port Qasim
The activities were ended during the last 24 hours on Saturday at Qasim Port are as under: Port Qasim maintained port's activities of total cargo volume of 53,183 tonnes including 43,855 tonnes of import and 9,328 tonnes of export cargo were handled during the last 24 hours of business activity on Saturday.
The total import cargo volume of 43,855 tonnes comprised of 25,756 tonnes of furnace oil; 9,734 tonnes of palm oil; 8,218 tonnes of Fertiliser and 147 tonnes of project cargo were handled during the business activity hours of the port on Saturday. The total export cargo volume of 9,328 tonnes comprised of 5,003 tonnes of cement cargo and 2,625 tonnes of steel coil were handled during the reported period of activities on Saturday.
There are three vessels namely M T Kalamas, M T Norgas Challenger and M T Maple sailed out to the sea on Saturday during the business activity hours at the port. A total number of eight vessels namely M V KPS-I Alican Bey-Powership, M V Port Mariner, M V Maha-B, M T Maple, M T Kalamas, M T Norgas Challenger, M V Spring Sun Shine and M V Vinaship Sea are currently occupying the berths of FOTCO Oil Terminal, Engro Vopak Containers Terminal and Multi Purpose Containers terminal to load/offload cement, project cargo, furnace oil tankers, VCM, furtilizer, palm oil and steel coil respectively during the last 24 hours of business activities at the port on Saturday.
There are three vessels namely M V Van Hai 602, M T Al-Soor-II and M T Atlantic Glory are currently at the outer anchorage after loading/offloading containerised cargo, diesel oil and paraxylene magnesium respectively at Qasim Port International on Saturday.
