08/04/2013 (Daily Times) - Five ships arrived at Port to load/offload palm oil at LCT rice at FAPT and containers at QICT and dredger at MW-2 on April 5. Berth occupancy was maintained at 71 percent at the Port on Friday where ten ships are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat, rice, diesel oil and palm oil. Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 26595 tonnes comprising 22688 tonnes import, 3907 tonnes export and (580 Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours. A ship sailed on Friday afternoon while another would sail on Saturday morning. A ship arrived at QICT as per schedule. app
