07/03/2013 (Ukr Agro Consult) - Rapidly declining growth in the global biodiesel market is set to continue in the coming years, which will further hit the profits of palm oil producers, who are already suffering at the hands of sliding prices.

Harald Sauthoff, vice president of global procurement, natural oils and oleochemicals at BASF Personal Care and Nutrition, said: "Sentiment over the biofuels market has changed. Authorities, at least in Europe, are reconsidering their position. Growth over (the last six years) has slowed."
