28/11/2012 (Live Trading News) - Malaysian palm oil futures edged down as traders booked profits from a near one-week high after Greece’s international lenders agreed on a financial aid deal that boosted market optimism.

US Wheat struck a 1 wk high after the US Department of Agriculture said the condition of the winter crop hit an all-time November low, following dry weather across the Plains.

US Wheat conditions were expected to fall 1% to a record low because of dry soil and cold temperatures in the US Plains, analysts said Monday.

Soybean rose nearly 1% to a 2-wk high on concerns over unfavorable crop weather in Brazil threatening a forecast bumper crop, while Corn also firmed.

In just under 2 wks, US exporters sold more than 40% of the Soybean oil targeted for export in the entire marketing year, in what trade sources said Monday signaled a scramble by end-users reacting to dried-up supply in South America.
