18/10/2012 (4-Traders) - The Seventh China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference jointly organized by Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD) will be held in Shangri-La Hotel Guangzhou, China on November 7th-8th, 2012. At present would-be participants may register for the conference. China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference is the first high-end industrial meeting hosted by domestic futures board of trade for the purpose of actively playing the role of futures markets and serving industrial development. The above two exchanges have successfully organized the conference for six times.

This conference has caught the great attention of international oils and oilseeds community and investment community, and such well-known institutes as Malaysian Palm Oil Board, China National Association of Grain Section, China Soybean Industry Association, National Grains and Oils Information Center, Chinese Cereals and Oils Association and American Soybean Association will attend the conference again as cooperative units. By then, key oils and oilseeds producers, oil mills and trading companies, information consultancy and research institutes and futures and securites experts will gather togather to analyse the macro-economic development trend, study the market supply and demand and the price tendency, predict the prospects of oils and oilseeds industry and seek effective channels for the sustainable and sound development of companies.

The relevant officials from DCE said that currently the overall potential growth of emerging markets is slowing down, the economic recovery of developed countries has been weak for a long time and the European debt crisis is worsening. The global economy will see a certain decline simultaneously, and easy monetary policy will intensify the fluctuations of commodity prices, making some enterprises face a severe market situation. One important topic of this conference, therefore, is that in the new circumstances where the way out is for oils and oilseeds enterprises and how to avoid risks, lock in cost prices and seize investment opportunities by taking advantage of futures market.
