24/07/2012 (Solomon Star) - An informative and comprehensive seminar for palm oil leaders and landowners in the country will be conducted in Honiara soon says the Minister of agriculture and livestock Connelly Sandakabatu.

Speaking to The Solomon Star yesterday Minster Sandakabatu highlighted that the seminar will be organised by the ministry of agriculture which intends to educate and enlighten oil palm leaders particularly on proper managements on oil palm including machineries.

He added that the seminar will mainly focus on productivity of the quality oil palm and full operational.

“This would be one of the success seminars that would involved all palm oil farmers who are keen to venture into the industry to enable them understood the right methods of palm oil, ” the minister said.

He said the seminar would allow all farmers to interact and share ideas and knowledge on their success and challenges.

“I think this might be one of the seminars that would be an informative and educational to everyone. So I want to assure everyone anytime  this month or probably next month my ministry will host the seminar  that will be held in Honiara,” the minister said.
