Palm Oil Stocks Fall By 4.85 Per Cent Million In June
11/07/2012 (Bernama) - Malaysia's palm oil stocks fell 4.85 per cent to 1.70 million tonnes in June 2012 from 1.79 million tonnes the previous month.
In a statement today, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said crude palm oil (CPO) stocks declined 19.73 per cent to 785,740 tonnes in June.
Processed palm oil stocks rose 13.21 per cent to 913,377 tonnes.Palm kernel stocks rose 9.4 per cent to 127,386 tonnes while crude palm kernel oil stocks down 11.54 per cent to 166,075 tonnes.
Processed palm kernel oil stocks fell 1.53 per cent to 152,281 tonnes and palm kernel cake stocks declined 15.6 per cent to 215,384 tonnes. MPOB said the CPO production in June increased 9.94 per cent to 842,838 tonnes from 766,668 tonnes the previous month.
Palm kernel production was up 4.06 per cent at 357,286 tonnes while crude palm kernel oil output was 0.26 per cent lower at 161,098 tonnes and palm kernel cake production slipped 0.34 per cent to 178,626 tonnes.
