05/07/2012 (Business Times) - TH Plantations Bhd advanced 2.2 percent to RM2.36 in Kuala Lumpur trading at 10.04am, bound for its steepest increase since June 19.

Kwantas Corp climbed 1 percent to RM1.98, while Cepatwawasan Group Bhd added 1 percent to RM1.03, bound for the highest close since July 2.

Palm oil rose 1.2 percent to close at RM3,124 a metric ton on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange yesterday, the highest price for the most-active contract since May 29. Futures have rebounded 10 percent since reaching an eight-month low on June 14. -- Bloomberg
