14/06/2012 (News Pakistan) - following the plummeting prices of palm oil in international market, the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has decided to cut down the prices of ghee and cooking oil by Rs 4 per kilogram.

The decision with regard to this price cut will be effective from today.

After the price cut, the USC officials told, the ghee will sell at the new price of Rs 160 per kilo as against the previous rate of Rs 164. Similarly, cooking oil that was being sold at Rs 166 per litre will now be available at Rs 162.

Sharing the details, the Utility Store Corporation officials confirmed that this recent decision has been taken in result of the plummeting palm oil prices in the international market.
