CPO Prices Hit 6-Week Low of RM3,409
04/05/2012 (The Star) - Crude palm oil (CPO) futures for third-month delivery fell to a six-week low in late afternoon trade on Thursday.
It was down RM43 to RM3,409 per tonne. This was the lowest since March 23.
Reports said the decline in CPO futures was due to concerns that favourable weather in the US was expected to help the planting of soybean, which is a competitor to palm oil for use in food.
