11/04/2012 (Business Recorder) - C.V Safmarine Ngami carrying containers was allotted berth at Qasim International Container Terminal on Monday, 9th April.

Berth occupancy remained modest at the Port on Monday where two ships namely C.V Safmarine Ngami and M.T Argent Gerbera were occupied at PQA berth to load/ offload Containers and Palm oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 47,910 tonnes, comprises 26,136 tonnes imports and 21,774 tonnes exports, inclusive containerized cargo carried in 2,365 Containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

Container vessel' Safmarine Ngami' sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning.

No ships at outer anchorage.

Two ships M.T Belsize and C.V MSC Hina carrying Chemicals and Containers are expected to take berths at Engro Vopak Terminal and Container Terminal respectively on Tuesday, 10th April.

C.V Buxhill is due to arrive at Port Qasim on same day, while five more ships C.V CMA CGM Wagner, C.V ACX Kai, C.V CMA CGM Mozart, M.T Omera Qeen and M.V Rapallo carrying Containers. Furnace oil and Canola seeds are due to arrive on Wednesday, 11th April 2012.
