Malaysia\'s Palm Oil Exports Down
21/02/2012 (Business Recorder) - Exports of Malaysian palm oil products for February 1-20 fell 2 percent to 783,112 tonnes from 799,210 tonnes shipped during January 1-20, cargo surveyor Intertek Testing Services said on Monday.
Malaysian crude palm oil futures climbed to a near two-month high on Friday on hopes that Greece will soon secure a bailout package, while dry weather fears in soy-producing South America also provided support.
Wheat, corn and soybean futures advanced ahead of a three-day US holiday weekend on Friday on export demand for all three commodities and optimism about a debt deal for Greece that bolstered risk sentiment.
