18/03/05 - A 30,000-tonne crude soyoil consignment from Argentina islikely to reach Kandla port in Gujarat in the middle of April, industrysources said Friday.

"The cargo is already on way and should reach Kandla by mid-April," anindustry official said.

India's imports of crude soyoil largely come from Brazil and Argentina.

India's crude soy oil imports are estimated to touch 1.3 million tonnes in2004-05 (November-October) against 0.9 million tonnes in the previousyear.
