Malaysian palm oil futures fell more than 1% by Friday's close, having touched a five-month low, as concern over the U.S.-China trade conflict outweighed data showing easing stockpiles and production.

Palm oil may retest a resistance at RM2,050 per tonne, a break above which could lead to a gain into the range of RM2,075-RM2,099.

Malaysian palm oil futures fell on Wednesday, pressured by concerns over the Sino-US trade conflict and as the ringgit strengthened.
