Malaysia's trade contracts 16pct in April, first deficit after 269 months of surplus
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's trade in April dropped 16.4 per cent year-on-year to RM133.34 billion from RM159.5 billion due to Covid-19 pandemic which caused major disruptions to global supply chain.

‘Slight decrease in exports to China’
KUCHING: Malaysia’s trade with China, which represented 19.7 per cent of the total trade or RM26.25 billion, decreased marginally by 1.5 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) in April this year, said Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
