Indonesia’s Palm Oil Export Revenue Surges 43% to $24.8 Billion by August
28/10/2025 (Jakarta Globe Indonesia), Jakarta - Indonesia’s palm oil export revenue rose sharply by 43 percent year on year to $24.79 billion in the January-August 2025 period, according to data from the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (Gapki). Export volume also increased by 15 percent to 22.69 million tons, up from 19.68 million tons a year earlier.

Indonesia’s palm oil production set to rise 10% in 2025

The increase is supported by favorable weather conditions and strong prices, which have encouraged farmers to manage their plantations more carefully, according to the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI).
