Philippines set to raise biodiesel blend to 5%
The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) is calling on the National Biofuels Board (NBB) to raise the Coco Methyl Ester (CME) content of biodiesel sold in the domestic market to 5%. The present blend of biodiesel currently in the country consists of 2% CME and 98% regular diesel.

India’s palm oil imports from Malaysia may take a hit in the current month, considering the duty structure changes announced by the government in its annual budget presented on Feb. 1. India had slashed the basic import duty on crude palm oil (CPO) to 15% from 27.5%.
