The benchmark palm oil contract for April delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was down 16 ringgit, or 0.38percent, at 4,213 ringgit (USD1,072.01)a metric ton at closing.

Malaysian palm oil futures closed higher for the second day in a row on Tuesday

29/01/2026 (UkrAgroConsult) - According to David Ng, a trader at Iceberg X in Kuala Lumpur, palm oil prices closed higher amid stronger soybean oil. He also noted that expectations of inventory drawdowns in the coming weeks are also supporting prices. Ng believes crude palm oil prices could find support at 4,150 ringgit per tonne and face resistance at 4,300 ringgit per tonne.
