INTERVIEW-China Must Cut Palm Oil Import Duties -Indonesia Assoc.

29/04/2011 (Forex Pros) - China, the world's No.2 vegetable oil buyer, must cut its import duties for palm oil to help boost Indonesian exports which are seen little changed at 2 million tonnes this year, an industry association said on Thursday.

Edible Oil Rules Weak

29/04/2011 (India Infoline) - the edible oils ruled weak in the absence of demand. Palmolein and soya refined oil ruled steady despite Malaysian crude palm oil (CPO) continuing to rule lower. In Mumbai market, groundnut oil after witnessing a jump of Rs. 40 in last one week, dropped Rs. 10. In Saurashtra, groundnut oil came down by Rs. 20 to Rs. 1,275 (Rs 1,295) for telia tin and Rs. 15 to Rs. 825 (Rs 840) for 10-kg loose. Rapeseed oil and cotton oil also declined by Rs. 7 and Rs. 5 respectively. Soya oil, palmolein and sunflower oil ruled steady.
