17/11/2012 (Hindu Business Line) - Prices of edible oils turned weak on Friday tracking bearish domestic and world futures markets. Groundnut and cotton refined oil declined by Rs 5 each. Imported palmolein and soyabean refined oil lost Re 1 and Rs 2 respectively. Sunflower and rapeseed oil ruled unchanged.

17/11/2012 (Business Recorder) - The Karachi Port handled 101,442 tonnes of cargo comprising 85,947 tonnes of import cargo and 15,495 tonnes of export cargo including 3,014 loaded & empty containers during the last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Friday. The total import cargo of 85,947 tonnes comprised 17,876 tonnes of containerised cargo; 5,697 tonnes of bulk cargo; 8,307 tonnes of coal; 7,458 tonnes of DAP; 947 tonnes of oil cake meals; 1,704 tonnes of urea and 43,958 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
