Edible Oils Slip on Bearish Malaysian Export Data

03/06/2014 (Hindu Business Line) - Edible oils prices declined on Monday tracking bearish futures markets, amid slack physical demand. Disappointing export data dragged Malaysian palm oil to their lowest in nearly seven-and-a-half months. In Mumbai, palmolein declined by ₹4, sunflower and rapeseed oil declined by ₹5 for 10 kg each. Cotton refined oil dropped by ₹10.

02/06/2014 (Business Recorder) - The Karachi Port handled 138,807 tonnes of cargo comprising 93,854 tonnes of import cargo and 44,953 tonnes of export cargo including 3,302 loaded and empty containers during the last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday. The total import cargo of 93,854 tonnes comprised of 51,918 tonnes of containerised cargo; 12,114 tonnes of coal and 29,822 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
