Malaysian Palm Cooking Oil Launched in Pakistan

23/06/2014 (Business Recorder) - For the first time, a 100 percent produced and packed Malaysian palm vegetable cooking oil is available in Pakistan. At the product launching ceremony of Century cooking oil, Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi Abu Bakar Mamat stated that the consulate would continue to facilitate the efforts by Malaysian companies to expand the presence of Brand Malaysia in the country. Century cooking oil is a product of Pan Century Edible Oils Sdn. Bhd., an IOI Group owned company.

Port Qasim's Activities

23/06/2014 (Business Recorder) - A cargo volume of 106,553 tonnes comprising 94,303 tonnes of import cargo and 12,250 tonnes of export cargo inclusive 1,344 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) was handled at Port Qasim during the last 24 hours on Saturday. The total import cargo of 94,303 tonnes includes 47,472 tonnes of diesel oil; 20,940 tonnes of palm oil; 5,445 tonnes vegetable oil; 2,769 tonnes of MEG; 5,012 tonnes of chemicals; 11,015 tonnes of steel coil and 1,650 tonnes of containerised cargo.
