30/12/2015 (Reuters) – The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets.

30/12/2015 (Business Standard) - Amid pick up in domestic demand and restricted arrivals from growing regions, crude palm oil prices were up by 0.81 per cent to Rs 412.10 per 10 kg in futures trading today as participants widened their positions.

30/12/2015 (NZ Herald) - Palm kernel imports picked up sharply last month, despite the efforts of Fonterra and Greenpeace to curtail its use.

30/12/2015 (The Star) - Crude palm oil (CPO) for March delivery rose to RM2,497 per tonne in late Tuesday trade, tracking the gains in soybeans.

30/12/2015 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures fell for a fifth straight session on Monday as forecasts for rains across Brazil's key producing region Mato Grosso eased concerns of potential yield losses in the world's largest exporter.

29/12/2015 (Business Standard) - Crude palm oil prices declined by 0.73 per cent to Rs 409.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid fall in demand in the spot market.

29/12/2015 (Hindu Business Line) - Malaysian palm oil futures on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Monday, retreated from a one-year high, after hitting their highest in 18 months in the last session, as weaker export demand and concerns over the year-end monsoon season dampened market sentiment. Palm oil export data from cargo surveyors Intertek Testing Services and Societe Generale de Surveillance showed a 15-16 per cent drop in shipments from December 1-25 compared with the same time period a month ago.

29/12/2015 (Reuters) - India's palm oil imports will rise marginally in the year to October 2016 from current record highs as the commodity's discount to soyoil narrows on output worries, making it less attractive for buyers in the world's top edible oils consumer.

29/12/2015 (Agro Perspectiva) - Within reporting week soybeans/rape prices on Ukrainian domestic oilseeds’ market remained stable. However, sunseeds’ prices have, once again, declined (though not as deeply as within previous week: as of this week, sunseeds’ prices have sagged just by UAH100 per MT).
