WAZA signs MoU to help make sustainably produced palm oil the norm

Ukraine. Decreased rapeseed crushing entailed a drop in rape oil exports
Ukraine exported 21 KMT of rape oil in August 2017 against 1.8 KMT in July 2017 and 24.3 KMT in August 2016. A total 22.8 KMT was supplied to foreign markets in the 2017/18 season (July-August) that is down 8% from the same time last year (24.3 KMT). These rape oil exports hit a three-year low. In the first months of the new marketing year Ukrainian crushers reduce processing of rapeseed in favor of its exports. Consequently, export shipments of rape oil have dropped, reports UkrAgroConsult.
